Thoughts on dating a guy with a female alter ego?

Matched with a guy on a date app. Sounds so perfect! Likes art, drawing, hikes, road trips, psychology... has so many things in common with me. He likes thinking deep too (he's a Pisces). He is looking for relationship (says looking for his soul mate) It's super early but I felt a click with him and I'm excited. BUT he's told me he has a alter ego that likes dressing up sexy. (I like dressing up sexy!). I'm not bothered by his life style choice. I'm kind of intrigued. I told him honestly I'm not sure how it aligns with what I'm looking for but I'm open to talking more with him. And I think topic like that better in person than over text. He says he is still a very manly man. So I don't understand what it means to have this "alter ego"?

Aww thank you. I guess I can explore the connection/friendship or whatever with curiosity and open mind and yet cautious too. I am finding it quite fascinating. And he doesn't trigger my commitment phobia whilst making me feel I can be open and honest.
Would be nice if I felt this with a guy without any "complications" tho... but haha maybe I just have a knack of attracting unique people? He truly seems to have a "beautiful mind" which is very attractive to me too beyond physical.

I don't understands an alter ego either but i do know a man in a skirt is not sexy. He won't have the hips for it as a start. I knew a girl who flatted with drag queens. When she got back from holiday she found they had broken her high heels and stretched all her skirts.

It would seem you need your/my wardrobe rules.

He says he can't remember last time he dressed up.
We spoke on phone and the "quick call" ended up being over 2 hours. He still seems so amazing so it's baby steps and I won't judge him on what he does, only on how it fits in with me if we were going to take thos forward. Which it's too early to say right now.

Actually nothing ever came of it. I would have been willing to explore if we could be at least friends but things just faded. I don't know why. But nothing else to add. If you are in same position I'd say go for it still. As in no pressure. Just get to know each other and maybe it fades out or maybe a good friendship or maybe something more? You won't know if you don't try.

I don't really get it. I have had women that dressed me up for fun and I played along with it to get them going. But there's nothing about it that connects to my identity, it's literally just putting some fuckin' funny looking clothes on.

I am deadly serious!! I feel a connection with him already. I feel like I've been down this road before tho. With my gay best friend.
Also with my fear of commitment I guess he's not triggering my fear so I feel I could get close emotionally whilst knowing there's a barrier to anything long term... maybe.
