You see so many posts on here and comments on other forums and even Instagram where guys complain about needing to be tall or how women don't want short men. I am seriously wondering, are we in an age where short men are more existent? No doubt, I see them around, of all races, but is it really that prevalent that these guys are struggling to find women?
No short men are not common. As a 5'4 male i've always been the shortest man every single place i've been at. Most men are never near my height. Most men are at least 5'10 once you start getting below 5'10 for a guy you start deviating from the standard height of most guys. Most women also are getting taller. Its getting more common for a woman to be 5'7 to 5'9. Height is a major disadvantage to men, like a lot. You would need to be near perfect in other areas to really be seen and even then an average guy of average height or taller will be considered more. Lets say that a short guy makes 200k a year that will be an advantage, but he will have to seriously exert as much effort as possible just to get noticed because no matter how much money or good of a guy a short guy is all the women are directing their focus at guys of an average height or taller. Another situation would be in a bar. If a short guy walks into a bar filled with men taller than him and attractive women, he will have to have extremely good social skills, confidence and anything else but even if one guy thats taller than him already has that, he's getting the pussy. I'm not a bad looking man myself, I have good personality traits. I'm not a genuine asshole.
A man thats 1 entire foot taller than me or more that looks like he came from prison and treats people like SHIT is immediately seen as more attractive. Even all these women that are like under 5'5 don't want anything to do with short guys even being miniscule themselves. They want to be towered the hell over. I've never had a single conversation with a woman that was my height and shorter despite me showing interest they didn't show interest with me. One 4'11 woman I tried with rejected me and went after my friend whose like 5'11/6'0 he's just an average guy nothing even special. I find that shorter women are the ones who actually give more shit about a guy being short than other women. Most short guys I see are with women average height or even taller. You don't know what its like to be a short man unless you are one yourself. The fact that this entire world praises tall men like they're Gods says a whole lot. There will never be a time in which the body types and different sizes of everyone will be appreciated, this world is F'ed up.
A lot of these dudes limit their options to superficial women. If all someone cares about is stuff out of your control be glad they aren’t using you and wasting your time. That’s just the truth…
Some of these men also have other traits about them that chase women off. A lot of these men also have superficial ideas about women. They expect a woman to be a perfect 10 all the time and all this other stuff.
What should matter is love…. Stop wasting your time on people who don’t want you. It doesn’t even make someone bad it means we are all looking for our own person. If the attraction isn’t there turning someone down is the kindest thing to do as long ad you’re respectful about it.
If someone isn’t respectful about rejection. Then… that tells you they aren’t worth being with anyways. Being attractive is a blessing but it can be a curse. For both men and women… Because while you have a lot of people wanting you.
Ifs hard to know who genuinely wants you and who doesn’t.
Short men are not limiting themselves to superficial women. Its not like we are saying "Wow look at that shallow women I really wanna go for her." It just happens. In majority of situations, most people will not want to do anything with an average person hard truth. Unless you're attractive, rich, or have some amazing trait that stands out amongst other people then you'll probably face less rejection. I would say even women that aren't even all that in certain areas and think they're top tier, but they're not really want to go out of their league. You can blame women for setting the standards

Even the guys that are tall are having a hard time finding a "Good woman" to be in a love relationship with.
From what I am getting by reading and seeing all of these women's groups that they have started and there's men bashing, women that won't love or care about if she gives birth to a boy - he will not be loved on and will probably go through his entire life asking himself why didn't my mom love me?

It's quite weird they fail to realise that IF men collectively As the Human Army of Recovering Patriarchs (HARPS lol) said that feminism was a cancer and they were walking back the "gains" women were given over the last few generations and should start returning to what their inherently valued for (birthing) because birth rates were plummeting, immigration was becoming an absolute necessity and men were collectively en masse refusing to support society because they were being neglected in education, opportunities and relationships, then what exactly could women do to stop the push back into the kitchen and made to return to womanly chores?
This is all said tongue in cheek but I watched a clip that said MEN have won the human race, we've defeated natures attempt at killing and stopping humans from doing whatever they please. Women are now able to assert themselves because they've been brought to the top of the hill, beyond the finish line, put themselves on the pedestal (that's what the primary goal of civilisation has been since it started to put and hold women and children on a safe pedestal away from danger).
I might be an anomaly because I really only want men under 5’10 preferably 5’7-5’8. I probably will never date someone 6ft I just think that’s too tall I’m only 5’2

One of my tenants is 5’6 and has four kids with two different women (he’s married). I see short guys with women quite a bit.
Only 14.5% of men in the USA are 6' or taller, so they are already in the top 15% in the dating pool without doing anything. Then if they make a decent wage, have an attractive face, workout, are intelligent, etc. that makes them even more desired from each desirable feature. And in modern times with social media, only the top 20% are desired, and the top 10% are highly desired. Lacking any of those features makes someone less desirable for each one they are missing.
Women being too unrealistic with their standards is why so many are single and will never have a good quality long term partner, but many men still can because they are desired around the world. An American man of 5' 10" can still be seen as tall in many countries around the world, and plenty of countries have small, weak men, so American men are more desirable for physical abilities too. American women don't have the same options around the world because the things they want like money, height, strength, etc. are lacking in many countries.
In my experience this whole "you need to be a tall guy to find a relationship" thing is ridiculous. I've known a million short guys who did just fine with the girls from school days up to today when they are married and have kids. I have known some who were popular with the ladies too.
Unless you are so short that you are completely out of the normal range... maybe under around 5 feet, OR, you have some other issues that make you unattractive to women, there is no reason why your height alone should prevent you from forming relationships. And there are plenty of women under 5 feet too so you don't have to date taller women.

Right. There was even a guy in my neighborhood some time back who was short and his girlfriend was taller than him. I literally didn't pay attention to that fact until one day I passed by them and thought to myself, "Hey, I'm just now realizing this guy is short and his girl is taller than him" lol
One of my close friends is about 5'4". His wife (who is beautiful by the way) is about 5'8". They've been married for 30 years and have 4 kids. Even though he was shorter than most guys in school he was VERY popular with the girls. Great athlete and just great all around guy. Height was never an issue for him.
No there aren't plenty of women under 5'0 at all. Even if there are they really don't want short guys coming from a short man myself who was interested in women within that range they have this insecurity or whatever other BS that a short guy will probably make worse, so they "need" a guy to tower over them. In all honesty, taller women are better for shorter men because I find that they exhibit more confidence and have better self esteem (not all but a lot do) so they can overlook things. I've never met any short confident women, they all have this need to want to be tiny as hell to their man, its a thing that has been going on for decades. in my opinion its getting very annoying and overrated to see this shit all over social media about the "height difference they deserve." They all place this height difference at gigantic men never other guys. They're the loudest group to say this nonsense. Taller women are much more chill. I don't even have a specific thing for short or tall women, but a tall woman with confidence and other good traits > a short woman thats insecure and must have a guy towering over her.

I am a short guy with a height of 5 feet 7 inches. All girls are interested in only taller guys. It's unfortunate, that girls think that only taller men can provide love, care, support, protection and money. Only taller men are handsome, talented, smart and educated. Women want men who looks like a fashion super models. Men want women who looks like skinny women super models. What about normal, average looking girls and guys? Aren't they humans?

So I am a rare guy in that I tend to like the girls who are not conventionally gorgeous. Not to say I hate all "pretty" girls, but most who are deemed conventionally beautiful are really very average and basic. I guess you get used to them because Hollywood and social media is full of these kinds of girls, so after awhile they're just no big deal.
No. We're just living in a world now where women make thier own money and can hire a man for whatever they need. Ergo women now can and most of the time ARE as shallow as men have been able to be. Women can now say, "either I get EXACTLY what I want or I'm out". There's only one drawback to this. Women have never been short on wants.😆 the avg. Woman wants a man to be 300 things. Virtually no guy can live up to that. So the end result is women have to choose between an imperfect man or a man that is a "temporary" space filler. And most women would rather just choose the latter until she bores of him.
Very factual. I think all these factors also play into the way women have become increasingly wicked but especially in the western hemisphere. The more power they get or are given, the darker and more cruel their hearts become.
Yeah, but you can't take it personal man. There are still good women out there. The succubus and harpies just give them a bad rep. Nothing a woman does phases me anymore. I always tell guys, "never concern yourself with what a woman does. Just always know what you're willing to tolerate". You have to remind yourself a woman may date a 100 guys but most if not all of them will be losers. So you're not losing anything by passing on her.
Oh 100%. It's not personal and I do believe good women are out there, I just seem to notice a change in women today. I don't know what they were like 50 years ago, but I definitely don't think they were like the ones now.

Right. Because women are more masculine now while men have become more feminine. Men were taught growing up to be soft and weak for women, otherwise anything else they do or how they behave with a woman will be "misogynist" or sexist. So it's the reason why so many guys grew up being simpy and believing that women all want nice, decent guys, and being afraid of making women angry. Women know this about men and use it to their advantage.

6 feet and above is when you get classified as tall
and even then it's not about just passing the 6 foot benchmark. women just want the guy who's taller than every other guy, well basically hypergamy dictates they want the best guy they can find whether tallest, best looking, richest etc.

I am 5'7 and my brother is around 6'0 and he's definitely had no problems getting girls compared to me. Though my younger brother knows how to talk to women and women are definitely like how he looks older. I myself just look younger for my age though never let my height bother me as I always considered myself tall when I was in teens. It wasn't till my 20's and 30's noticing guys taller than me in college and sporting events. Though there are few times you would see a short guy with a short girl where both are like 5'10 and 5'5.

I don't know the actual percentage but it's supposedly a very high percentage of men are no longer dating or getting married more than half anyway if that's even accurate. However given that so many have opted out that points to something very different height not relevant.
They seem prevalent 'cause many of them are online, always blaming their height. All they think a man could offer is height.. but there's so much deeper than that. Soooo many qualities to work on than height.

I'm 5'81/2" so I'm pretty short.
Most males in my family on both sides were kinda short except my paternal Uncle Jay who was six-six, though his brother, my father, was five-seven.
