Do you think being 5’8” man would probably be better than being a 5’4”or 5’5” man?

One time this man around 5’4” or 5’5” in height starting being a jerk to me. After he finished his ranting at me I thought in my head maybe he is jealous of me because I am taller than him. I have always heard growing up short men have it hard in life especially when it comes to dating.

I know my height of 5’8” isn’t that tall but it is still taller than him. I was born female but If I was born male I personally rather be 5’8” in height than around 5’4” or 5’5” in height.

I'm tall, even for a guy, so this is something I'll never experience, but I don't personally believe there's anything wrong with being short, even for guys.

It's just that society has ingrained the idea of taller being a more masculine, more desireable trait for a man. Women generally seek out taller mates, and lots of guys look down on shorter men as being weaker, even if that's not the case.

It's unfortunate, because short guys can be great people, and many of them are tougher than some taller people, but society just doesn't give them that chance.

Consequently, some shorter guys develop "short man syndrome" where they feel they have to overcompensate for their height, and end up developing attitude problems.

It's certainly understandable, when they put up with some of the shit they go through, but unfortunately results in them looking like jerks.
