I would only choose 6'8" if I get to be an NBA player and make millions of dollars shooting and dunking basketballs through opposing defenses, and then running back in transition while roaring at the audience and gloating all down the court every night. xDDD
Otherwise, I'd choose to be 5'8", definitely. :P It's much more convenient for normal life. Plus, I'd have a better chance of fitting into sports cars, LOL.20 Reply

Asker+1 yYou mean like sucking to get through a door and having to get everything specially made lol :)
Asker+1 yDucking! Not sucking :)
- +1 y
Yes, or not fitting in many cars, or not being able to fit in an attic or a crawlspace (I work in those places sometimes), having to buy expensive, specially-made clothes, etc. Even finding furniture that is comfortable is a challenge - I have a couple of friends who are 6'5", and for both of them, these things are already a hassle.
Asker+1 yThanks for explaining :)
+1 yI'd actually love to be 5 ft 2 :)
Being tall has a lot of drawbacks (I'm 5'9). Like, you can't wear beautiful high-heels without being taller than most guys. Le sigh.
Being 6 ft 2 would make it even worse.
Gimme that 5'2 height, shorties are adorable little bunnies 😽❤21 Reply
Asker+1 yHaha I bet if you were 52 you'd be envious if being 5 ft 9. you'd be like its great I can wear hells but I have to wear 8 inch heels to make a statement and my feet are not long enough to even do that :p
Other than heels any other drawbacks?
+1 yI am 6'2" and I LOVE my height. In fact, I think 6'2" is the perfect female height. <3 <3
I mean... To be fair, I kinda like myself, a lot. If I were 5'2", I would probably conclude that 5'2" is the culmination of all awesomeness, too.
LOL728 Reply
Asker+1 yI think 6 2 is a fantastic height for females. It's Stately and powerful and graceful and which is all feminine.
- +1 y
@dfgkpkp He is about 5'11".
- +1 y
@dfgkpkp His presence is pretty overwhelming. <3
We do look fantastic together, yeah. - +1 y
@dfgkpkp hahah yeah I'm a total shoe whore... lol. I wear 5-7" heels to most places that aren't the gym. (Shoes scale up with size, so, the same shoe that's a 5" heel in your size is a 6" heel in my size.)
My 13-year-old son is already 6 feet tall, and VERY solidly built like his father (he had college football scouts at his games this past fall... in 7th grade). Our two younger kids (8 and 5 years old) are pretty tall for their ages, too, although it's still pretty early to tell with them. - +1 y
@dfgkpkp 😂😂😂😂 I've never heard that...
I mean... if a woman has an *extremely* difficult childbirth, she might have some extra spinal curvature (which could make her shorter) -- but, I've never heard of this actually happening - +1 y
@dfgkpkp You can correct yr posture if you have bad posture, but, that's about it really.
- +1 y
@dfgkpkp That sort of potential is basically 100% genetic. (If you don't eat or sleep well enough, you may not grow to yr full potential -- but, you can't do much to alter that potential.)
On average, men actually have longer legs than women (for a given height), and slightly shorter torsos. The illusion of long female legs is mostly created by high heels, God bless 'em <3 - +1 y
@dfgkpkp Everything about me is long, lol.
- +1 y
@dfgkpkp Haha, noooo lol... my natural breasts were very very small lol
- +1 y
@dfgkpkp Lol, that is not a question that people ask. If you have *good* breast augmentation surgery, no one can tell by looking anyway -- plus it would be unfathomably rude to just *ask* that, hahah.
I wrote details in my opinion here:

Lol I love how confident and just adorable you are. <3 It's so cute. I'm 5'3.5" and I just wish I was either a lot shorter or taller (Such as 5'1" or 5"9" +) because then I can have that extreme height difference you know I enjoy.
There's always this "short girl tall guy" thing going on with people but with me I just don't really care xD
1st ex - shorter than me
2nd ex- taller than me
current bf- same height
6'2" is a great height for a female then you can challenge everyone in the stereotypes of tall/short women and tall/short men, exactly like being a 5'2" guy xD
Asker+1 yOp you're the only other person I've den who understands that men in average have taller kegs proportionately... I think it's bc
1. men tend to have broader torso which make the legs look shorter compared to narrow torso making the whole body look elongated like a Christmas tree or pyramid.
2. I think bc women's clothing measures from leg from waist to floor men's measures from unseen to floor. I guess bc women used to mostly wear dresses.
3. As you mentioned , heejs.
4. Old fashioned bias ;) women's clothing advertises stuff for long legs bc it's profitable go get women to try to make their legs look longer.. So people think of women with long legs bc if the five women in magazine covers that have impossibly long legs ;)
Can I ask, do you wear platform shoes or literally 6 inch heels. I wear 5 inch plat shies but I can't imagine wearing heels. Maybe it's easier with a longer fit assuming your foot is longer... Or you're just more talented lol
I'm curious how long your arms?
Asker+1 yI know it's random I'm just curious if arm length changes much in Relation to height.
Also were you always taller than everyone or did you spurt up later in childhood? Do you know when you stoked growing?
Height is one of my curiosities :-)- +1 y
Sry, had a tab open with this post, my browser crashed and I just kinda forgot all about it, lol.
My wingspan (middle finger to middle finger), when I hold my arms out horizontal, is also about 6'2". I think this is normal for most people (wingspan is about the same as height).
As far as heel height -- remember that bigger shoe sizes are also taller, because the angles are the same. If you ever studied "similar figures" in high-school geometry, this is the same idea -- everything scales up proportionally.
I wear a US size 12, which is Euro size 42. A shorter woman might wear a Euro size 35 (which is a US 5 or so).
Euro sizes are proportional to length, so, my heels will be 42/35 = 1.2 times as tall as a US size 5, or 42/38 = about 1.1 times as tall as a US size 8.
This means if you wear a 5" heel in a size 5, I'd have a 6" heel in exactly the same shoe.
Most of my taller shoes have platforms, but, that's mostly because I'm old! LOL I'm kinda over the whole "oh, I totally felt that - +1 y
piece of glitter I just walked over" thing, that happens with non-platform heels ahahah
I have a *couple* pairs with no platform at all -- I have one pair of gold Jimmy Choos in particular that I just couldn't bear to part with -- but, I don't like to walk very far in those, and I certainly couldn't dance all night in them.
About my growth curve, there was actually another thread about that. Here you go:

My sister is 4'11.5" and I'm jealous of her height. I know it's stupid, but I just feel like I'm too tall.
Asker+1 yIt's not stupid it's just fascinating.. Does she get treated better or something?
- +1 y
No, she's just so small and cute and I'm also the younger sister and feel weird being taller than her a lot. :/ I dunno why. I just like being small.
Asker+1 yI can understand. My family is tall and my system us not small but reLatively small compared to me and I feel weird being taller. I thought it's bc im talk But I think it's all rehabbed.

5'8 I'm 5'7 right now and I absolutely love my height. I'm sure I can hit 5'8 if I did yoga or went swimming, something to elonagate my spine but that would only happen if I cared to become taller which I don't.

But if all the women are magically becoming 5'2, then 6'8 might be too tall xD11 Reply

@redeyemindtricks i know thats why i dont want to be one inch more than where im at, so glad im 6'2' and wouldn't change it by an inch
- +1 y
@redeyemindtricks ouch 😕
- +1 y
@sixnineanon He's a NPC physique competitor -- it's a very specific thing. Taller bodies aren't made for that. (Imagine if Michelangelo's David were a foot taller; the proportions wouldn't be right.) That wasn't a general slight.
- +1 y
@redeyemindtricks alrighty then. Good thing I'm not a physique competitor. I guess taller bodies were made for sports like basketball and volleyball.
- +1 y
@sixnineanon Yep. There are plenty of other advantages, too (taller executives make higher salaries, etc).
Physique is one of the few areas where extreme height is a serious disadvantage, but, hey, can't win 'em all. - +1 y
@redeyemindtricks I feel out of place in NPC being taller than 5'10 even lol. This sport is made for shorter guys fr
- +1 y
Yah, I'm surprised you didn't say 5'8" to this question.

@redeyemindtricks I wouldn't want to be short tho lol

Anonymous -- What is yr build like? If you are tall and slender, like me, then there's a huge abundance of clothing that will fit you well.
• Most designer RTW collections are made to fit taller, slimmer figures.
• Lots of women's and juniors' denim is unhemmed on the rack, so, women our height can just buy it unhemmed and... wear it unhemmed.
• If you have a longer torso and shorter legs, you can get a lot of tops by buying menswear and having it tailored appropriately.
If you are tall and also curvy, THEN, yeah, shopping is gna be pretty difficult -- but there generally aren't a lot of women who fit that description. (Most women our height are high-progesterone and/or triple-X, and so tend to be pretty slim.)
Lmk in a pm if you want, I can give you some pointers on where to get stuff.
