Would you date a girl who has a guy best friend?

I met a new girl and she is very close with a guy best friend. And this closeness is a bit disturbing. They are staying together etc. Do you think this situation is acceptable or should it end before it even starts?

I used to date this guy who was pretty close to his ex-girlfriend. He told me they used to live together, they adopted a dog together and they are still on the same car insurance. He told me I had nothing to worry about and their relationship was history. I decided to believe him. Everything was going pretty well. He ended up getting a job in Seattle and asked me if I would move with him. I thought about it. And I decided I would. Shortly after, he got sick. He didn't want me to go over to his place because he didn't want me to get sick, too. I insisted on bringing him a Starbucks and some cough syrup before work. At the time, I was on Grave Shift working 10 hour nights from 10pm-8am. I also live an hour away from my workplace. But I cared about him. I was going to offer to bring him some Pho, but he mentioned his parents were dropping off Pho for him so I didn't suggest that. He finally gave in and said I might be able to visit him around 7pm after his parents left. He also asked me if I would be able to do his laundry. His place was too small for a washer and dryer so he did his laundry at his parents. But he didn't want them to get sick. I told him I would. So I met with him, dropped off the Starbucks and medicine and picked up his laundry. When I went home, I started the laundry and stayed up to switch it to the drier. I went to go to sleep when my I heard my sister screaming for me. I got up and asked her what's wrong. She held up a credit card she found in his laundry. My sister asked me, "Who's Samantha?" Samantha was his ex-girlfriend.

Long story short, I would get out of that relationship as fast as I could. Before it even starts. I regret everything that relationship brought. I gave my virginity to him and he cheated on me. I was going to drop everything, my friends, my family, my job for him and move to Seattle to support him when he wasn'teven faithful to me. He wasted my time and I let him. I'm just glad that he wasted 4 months and not 4 years.

I have lots of male friends due to my work as it's predominantly male and I told my husband from the beginning but he'd have to deal with this and he was very understanding and trusts me fully.

He knows my male best friend isn't a threat and we are literally like brother and sister and the thought of anything else makes us feel physically sick. We both agree but we don't see each other that way at all

I would say approach that guy and ask if he have any kind of intentions with this girl then u say u would back off immediately and see what he says and u decide how u can proceed.
