Girls, Is it actually true that women in general look down on custodian men?

Girls, I need your opinion on this.

See, I currently work as a full-time janitor and a part-time garbage collector ever since I wasn't able to finish high school due to poverty. I had to at least make an effort on getting a job since one of my goals are getting back to school.

But one time, I met this woman on Bumble and she's a team leader at Capital One. We actually matched and I started chatting her up. Her responses though we're one worded and a bit cold, maybe because she saw my profile and it displays how I look (dark-skinned with beard). Out of the blue though, she started asking me about my occupation.

I admit I got nervous at that part, but I just told the truth that I currently work as a full-time janitor and a part-time garbage collector, and I stated the reason why, and that was because I was looking to get back to schooling to at least afford my tuition fee. Her response was "You're an embarassment for me little boy, even a woman working at McDonald's would snitch on you with what you do for a living. At least get yourself some decent job first before dating, I literally don't wanna be seen with a custodian man dealing with garbage, I know my worth.". After she said this, she blocked me.

Ladies, would you still think of a man as worthless even if he is a hardworking one?

No absolutely not. People that work hard have good character. It doesn't matter the job or circumstances. A hard working person is just that. People that look down on others because of what the do in life tend to be petty. Someone that would be bothered by your profession is likely thinking too highly of themselves and their own image more than yours. They probably want to be seen by friends and peers as dating someone "successful" because then it makes themselves seem more successful as well. That is the wrong reason to date someone. I am not saying all people are like that but far too many care about social status. It is a sad but very true thing. You should wait for the girl that values you for who you are and not what you do or how you make a living.

a job is a job to me and if it supports his life style, power to him. Long as for instance smell is dealt with if thats an issue
