Has dating destroyed men?

So I made a post about woman lacking empath in dating. And while I got differing opinions the majority was that men don’t think woman have empath in dating scene at least from the comments I got.

Truthfully how these guys have come to view dating and woman in the sphere is kinda sad the advice I was getting was something i had given myself a millions times. Woman like to be treated like shit so that’s how I should approach them.
I’m sure I will get push back on that and by some woman as well.

But I just feel like the statement isn’t entirely untrue I mean more often then not the most beautiful woman I’ve seen I’ve been treated like shit with there’s exs and they still think about these folks and mention them and even get back with them. And the next guy that’s treated them right is corny or lame not just by woman but I’ve even seen some men act and say the same.


It’s like it’s unattractive or uncool to be a gentleman nowadays it’s insane and sad. The reason I’ve never adopted that mentally even though I’ve been hurt so much is just cause that’s not how I am. But truthfully the times I’ve had the most successful is when I had that mindset and that was cause I got my heart broken at the time.

Nice guys finish last I guess isn’t so much of an exaggeration nowadays especially really pretty girls more than any other I see them into these type of guys more than any other girl.

Sort of yes. You see, many girls reward bad men with sex and that creates a market for bad men and it subtracts from the market of good men. And then they come on here and say "my boyfriend cheats on me and punches me and insults me. what should i do?"

And then this community is flooded with insecure girls, girls looking for trouble and man haters.

Its sad to say that this seems common what’s crazier is i typically leave questions like this open to both side to give their perspective but girls don’t seem to like being called Out for there bs as I get like no replies to these post or maybe they don’t see the point in replying since it’s a male focused post

I think there's a point to what you're saying. I remember years ago before I really had experience with women, this one girl had a bunch of exes who treated her like shit. I was so nice to her and did everything I could to help her to show her not all guys are like that, and all it got me was friendzoned. Now she's with a guy who has cheated on her multiple times and lied about his identity multiple times, has verbally abused her calling her fat and ugly etc, then randomly breaks down crying then tells her to take off her panties. Almost every girl you can date nowadays has some sob story about a "toxic" ex but you have to wonder what did she do to encourage him and why did she stay so long?

Yeah man you can try your best to find a girl who will appreciate a romantic. My girl now likes romance and sweetness but I had to go through a lot of rejection and watch other men succeed while treating the girls I wanted like dirt.

Most definitely not. Women may have destroyed the dating process, but not men themselves. A woman cannot take anything from a many that his does not willingly surrender.

Hmmm the wording may be misleading when I say destroyed I mean made men give up on that traditional fairy tail type of love. It’s seems like a lot of guys start out for the most part treating girls right not saying they were prince charging but they treated them with kindness respect and love. But get hurt or rejected or used while those same girls go after guys that treat them like dirt and will even fuck then and then complain

In return I’ve seen many guys mindsets change to be more like these type of men seems like to me a lot of men are maybe not treating girls like shit but a mix of both to win or they are straight up treating them like shit and still getting what they want

You're absolutely right. But think about this. Imagine some 300+ lb. Chick. Is it much different for her? Very few guy would give her a chance. And she may be polite treat men with respect etc. Also it sucks, but you can't blame women for what they're attracted to. And I know it doesn't feel like it, but she's doing you a favor rejecting you. Because dating her would be twice as bad.
Yes, dating is largely broken. But it's due to many factors. Though I understand your frustration.

Today's women are entitled and self-important with standards that are generally unrealistic. Many women become disillusioned when they can't find a man who meets their standards, and then they find themselves single and lonely in their mid-30s, having lost their value and facing the reality that they can't land a man if the value they could have had they taken the search for a life partner seriously when they had more power.

Men OTOH far more often have their lives destroyed when their wives divorce them, take their children and destroy their lives. It's a leading reason behind the epidemic of middle aged male suicide.
