Why do so many men here put merit to the "top 10%" of guys get all the girls when the "statistics" are based on dating apps - full of world's losers?

I & a few university friends did a 6 month social experiment on dating apps. We each created a profile on the most popular ones free & paid - Match, Plenty of Fish, etc.

Realistic profile, using personal photos but not real names and not even real cities.

Anyway to cut it short after 6 months the general consensus was dating apps are predominantly for people nobody else truly wants. Good for cheap sex but nothing else.

Yes there's good decent people there but they are by far the minority.

The average woman, even on paid sites, was:
Essentially prostitutes - the large number on some sites asking for money was alarming.
Poorly educated with the potential percentage having even a college degree, 10-30%.
Low income - women who made more than minimum wage was less than 20%.
Oftentimes drunkards, bar hoppers, or single mothers with multiple fatherless kids.

Some were quite attractive, through you know filters & makeup, but average on some sites looked like they'd been around block three dozen times & sort a desperate man would have.

The average man, even on paid sites, was:
A liar. Many claimed to be well educated, successful, etc. but knew little of industry was...
Liars. The number of men there who revealed to be married on some sites was disgusting.
Had issues - two classmates as psychology students - that were obvious was about 70%.
Had little to no respect towards women - example actively talking about sex after told off, etc.

So why do so many men on this site go on about the "top 10%" of men getting all the girls when literally that claim is based on dating apps - the cesspools and garbage dumps of the world.

Oh and to be clear the photos taken were professional on every site - so no excessively exposed skin, no photos of bar hopping, etc. -- essentially respectable decent person photos.

Also probably the same reason why they use dating apps in the first place instead of dating like normal people did before dating apps were even a thing. It's easy and convenient, it's basically fast food of dating. Quick but no quality. Quality people don't use dating apps. Sorry but it's true. The women who are actually on it, the minority by the way, are mainly on there for validation and the guys on it are usually just looking for something quick and cheap. Go out and actually meet people like everybody did before dating apps. Stop hiding behind keyboards and phones. Dating apps were built from the ground up to be shallow.

This x1000000. Dating apps are a black hole of insecure women seeking validation and low value men looking to capitalize on that insecurity for sex.

Real relationships are much more organic in nature.

I love how you list statistics like this was professionally and accurately done. Most of what you listed was opinion and very one sided. Yes you pointed out many of the women are whorish but you ignored how many of them lie not to mention how many of them are serial daters seeing multiple men at once.

And to answer you question. Because dating apps are a microcosm of a much larger picture. Men put merit because there's a lot of truth to it. Sorry you don't like how your gender behaves as a whole. But ignoring that reality does not make it go away.👍

This doesn't make any sense. What's the correlation between the top 10% and whatever that experience you had in dating apps was? Also can you include some data points? If there for people no one else wanted why did you go out w/ them? If you didn't what gives you impression no one wanted them?
