Is he just jealous?

He keeps saying things like, "I see you online on the dating app a lot" or "Why are you on there?" But then at other times, he says, "I don’t care. Do what you have to do."

When I respond with, "I’m single," he just says, "I know," and the cycle starts over. Then we end up flirting, and he’ll say things like, "I’m better. I communicate and don’t just want sex."

We have really deep conversations, and he’s amazing at communicating.
He is an introvert just like me.

What do you think—is he jealous or just really into me?
Or is he waiting for me to make the first move?

Oof, girl, that's a tough situation you've got there with this guy. It sounds like he's sending some serious mixed signals, and I can see how that would be super confusing.

On one hand, the way he keeps bringing up the dating app and questioning why you're on there makes it seem like he might be feeling a little jealous. At the end of the day, girl, you deserve someone who's gonna be upfront and consistent with their feelings. Don't sell yourself short just because this dude is acting a little jealous and insecure. You got this - stay strong and true to what you want!

I just said something to him that I am not interested in the others and he was like "are you scared that I will check it all? 😝".

Oh yeah I'm sorry that I didn't mention it. I just met him recently through a dating app and we have seen each other
