Should I download dating apps, or is it better to meet people in person? What do you think?

Apps seems to be the way people are leaning but in my opinion they are lazy , a bit like casting a net in the ocean , your gonna catch something ! 😂. I understand their appeal , but I've said it before on here a few times and will say it again for what it’s worth , I never would via an app. I’d rather be single than trawl the ocean for my mermaid.


Meeting people in public requires effort, requires you to be in the right place and at the right time , displaying the right signals and communicating the right way…. Sounds like hard work right ! , but more importantly it cuts out the chaff that you “likely” don’t want , yeah of course there are exceptions to the rule but surely it’s worth the result ?

if you are actually serious about meeting someone to form a relationship with dump the apps, and use one of the better dating sites like It's just lunch, eHarmony.
At least there most people are serious about findsing the right person, and not just looking for validation like I'm so pretty all these people want me.
The cost might have something to do with it as well.
It is still a lot of work, but if you are honest with what qualities you are looking for in the other person you have a much better shot at it.

Why not a mix of both? A dating app/site gives you more possibilities, while meeting in person gives you a better feeling of who the other person is.

I used some of the early dating apps like 30 years ago. I met a few women that I dated, always had a good time and liked them, and I don't really see anything wrong with it. Although for whatever reason, all of the serious relationships in my life came from meeting people in person.

Things have changed now and there are a lot of scammers on these sites. So you have to be careful. I'd say in person is the preferable way but dating apps might work if you get to know them a little first before you meet them.

Depends on what you’re looking for. Dating apps are great for options, but meeting in person gives you instant chemistry check. Try both! Just don’t let swiping replace actual social skills. Balance is key go out, have fun, and see what works for you.

Dating Apps! Are ALL Scams! Nothing is real, and the worst part of it is that... YOU PAY to Keep their software/platform Up & Running, and the Cost of A. I. that "works" an Algorithm for Your matches! So at the end of the day you are Paying to Chat an A. I! 🤷‍♂️

Dating apps are designed to suck cash from the "bottom" 96% of men. Do some research about female behavior on dating apps and you will realize what a bad deal dating apps are for men.
