Because for starters that's not true. A black guy MAY prefer a white woman. But that doesn't mean he doesn't like black women. Most men like women in general be them white, black, blue or purple. But what is a black woman's other option? White guys. Black women are not attracted to white guys. Women in general are exponentially more racist when it comes to dating. So it's not really that they "still want black men". It's a lack of other option in HER mind.
Black men and women appear "more masculine" than white men; Asian men appear "less masculine."
