Well go talk to her and see if she’s willing to go on a date even for coffee. If she says no then you can have closure and aren’t wasting your time. But also if she would go out with you. You don’t know how long of a window you have.

Talking to someone isn’t Always necessarily exclusive but it does depend. Just ask her and see where it goes. Talking to someone can mean a lot of things.
