I've been in no contact with this guy for 3 months. He wasn't putting in the effort, so I just cut things off with him. He kept me on social media but I blocked him. Will he ever think about me or regret the way he took me for granted?

Now I really can't say anything because I don't know either one of you but in any type of relationship there's give and take and there's communication

In the last past 2 months I've had the worst luck with phones and on to the point where I don't even like phones anymore.
I've been through three phones in the last past couple months and the phone I have right now is the biggest piece of garbage that I've ever had in my life but it affects everything that I do.. . And if you blocked him but you still want him to think about you that really doesn't make sense. .

I wasn't trying to be selfish. But when we started texting he was doing everything right. Texting frequently, saying I was "checking his boxes", and how he was ready for something real. But when I brought things up, he almost made it seem like I was the one who was moving things too fast, and started telling me about another girl he went on a date with. Most girls would've flipped by that part. But I didn't. I was just more upset at the fact that he would take longer to respond and didn't initiate anything anymore. So I guess personally I just don't see how I'm the selfish one. And as for blocking him, it's not that I don't want him in my life. But it's sad when someone decides they don't wanna put effort into a relationship with you but then continue to stalk your page and give your breadcrumbs

Well it depends on what kind of person he is if he’s a good person he will feel bad for hurting you. If he’s not a good person then he will be sad that he lost control over you these people like the be the ones controlling things. They control when they end things the list goes on.

A real relationship is a two way street when someone isn’t putting effort in and you are. It’s not worth your time that will be the rest of the relationship so there just isn’t any point.

You're right. But yeah I left because he knows how to put in effort. He did in the beginning but then he switched up. So I just didn't feel like there was anything I needed to say because he knows how, but he was choosing not to.

When we met he was a pretty good texter, I matched his pace. He seemed like he wanted a relationship with me and was heavily implying that. One time when we hung out, he mentioned that his friend found my Tinder. I don't know why he brought that up, so later that night I texted him to let him know I was taking things seriously with him. He said he wasn't on the same page and was going with the flow. He ended up saying he felt pressured to be with me and just wanted to be friends. We weren't exclusive so it doesn't bother me if he meets other people. But I never expected him to tell me about the girls he's talking to. So after a bad date with this girl, he reintroduced the idea that he wanted to see where things go with me. But then he would take hours to reply to a text, or even overnight. Didn't send me things and only texted if I initiated something. Do you think anything would've changed if I told him he was being inconsistent?

It sounds like neither one of you took each other seriously, per usual with wishy washy gen z poor communicators. If you expect a serious relationship with somebody, you can't have a tinder account and still be talking to other guys. Fair enough. If you have any thoughts on this, I would love to hear them. But yeah, a lot of girls put too many eggs into one basket and focus on one guy and then he ends up screwing her over. I didn't want to put myself in this position. And then again, on the day he mentioned it, I let him know that I was taking things seriously (and you could argue that he should've said he wanted me to exclusive if it bothered him, but then he was the one he ended up saying he was "going with the flow") So I don't see how my Tinder was the issue. If it was, then it could've been like "okay sweet, yeah I want us to be exclusive". I don't know why I want him back, if you think I should get over this I would be open to advice

If having a Tinder account was such a dealbreaker for him, he could’ve communicated that instead of sending mixed signals. He had no problem talking about other girls he was dating, so it’s a double standard to act like my Tinder account was the issue. I had less of a problem with him talking to other girls vs just not texting me back. Maybe I'm confused but it's dumb to assume people are only talking to one person at a time, so I just accept that it's a natural part of dating. But not texting back is just rude.
