How come celebrities only date other celebrities?

That's kind of a small dating pool isn't it? Why don't they pickup a regular person? I mean some do, but that's more the exception than the rule. I've never really understood why, yeah one person may have millions and the average joe probably doesn't, but that really shouldn't matter.

I would imagine it's difficult for the rest of us to understand the life of a celebrity. They know the pressure, the obligations, how busy the schedule is and can relate to all those experiences the rest of us can't understand.

You think Kelly Preston married (gay) John Travolta because she loved him? F*** no! She thought it'd be good for her career. Same with Katie Holmes marrying Tom Cruise (Also gay). Katie even abandoned Christ to join the "church" of Scientology.
