I'm not a feminist.
And I believe in equality for women and am incredibly respectful and appreciative towards them.
However, I believe that modern feminism seems to create some kind of antithesis between the genders. The messaging that men are always evil and need to be cut down is destructive for men, and society at large. Imagine hearing the message as men that there is something inherently wrong with our gender?
I do believe that we should complement and respect one another. Not have this kind of oppositional force at play.
I do believe that women have it easier in many respects, but also have it harder in others. The same applies to men. You're comparing apples and oranges.
Feminism is a loaded ideology and those who created the term were mostly white women looking out for their own. Women and girls overseas are being oppressed but many feminists in the west are silent so it goes to show feminism isn’t all it says to be, I think it’s toxic and would never consider myself a feminist. I used to be back in 2016, supported Hilary Clinton, but then I saw the ugly side of politics and the history of female politicians, the ugliness of Hollywood and the music industry by females, females online who call themselves feminists but hate men. I’m an anti feminist and I feel no shame admitting that. If I knew a girl that I liked was a radical feminist, I would end it. No point for her and I to waste each others time and leave on mutual terms and never speak to each other again.
I voted “no”, but it really depends. Define anti feminist. Do you mean men who genuinely believe that men and women should be treated equally with no bullshit or special treatment going towards one gender? If that’s the case, yes I would date because I’m not a feminist. I’m egalitarian and, in this case, so is he.
If by anti-feminist, you mean the guys who tell women to stay in the kitchen, then no. I wouldn’t
@silvermoon84 good point raised.
I mean it would be dependent on what they mean by "anti-feminist" I think a lot of guys associate feminism with censorship, shaming men for liking adult anime, using #meToo for clout. Stuff like that. If that's all they mean then I don't really have a problem with it.
If they think that I am not equal to them, and they can boss me around or they are entitled to my body, then yeah that's a hard pass.

No thanks lol
I could handle a non-feminist assuming he was relatively modern/progressive just not involved.
Anyone dating a man who hasn’t taken a critical look at the power structure he’s a part of is in for a bad time though.
What is anti feminist man?
If what you mean is toxic masculinity or patriarchy, that a big no.
I'll only date a reasonable man
If he is an anti-feminist, that will be just the tip of the iceberg. You can be certain he will be screwy and insecure in many other ways as well.
A question, most probably, provoking the Nth rematch of...
Conservative vs Progressive !
Well, a rematch, that is, only in countries not entirely made of a conservative fabric.
No I would only date a man who believes in equality. I have no desire to be with a man who thinks I am below him.
Gee, you're edgy.
I'm anti-feminist because I believe nothing good came out of feminism, and that it's always been kinda evil.. That doesn't mean I don't believe that women shouldn't have equal opportunity.. Feminism doesn't have the monopoly on that idealogy..
Feminism is literally equality. You can't just change the definition of a word. If you believe women should have equal opportunities, you're a feminist. Congratulations!
No, I can be a humanist.. Feminism started because elite groups of women wanted more power.. If it were so much about equality the "White Feather Campaign" would've have happen, father's wouldn't be getting f@$ked over in divorces, feminist would be all over men falling behind women in society.. No, it's always been about power..
Feminism is literally not equality.
Because if it was , women would be subject to selective service/draft/automatic registry.
Women also would have the benefit of gender quotas and affirmative action.
You feminist should be demanding to be treated like men but you won't because you'd loose all the benefits of being a woman.
Equality is an absolute and you feminists are all hypocrites
Again, feminism is equality. It's a word with a definition in the dictionary. You can't change that, no matter how much you might want to.
@grega239
"I didn't change it."
"Feminism is literally not equality."
It literally is. It's a defined word. You can't change the definition of a word because you want to argue it's actually something else.
I live in the USA where selective service/draft/automatic registry doesn't exist, so I can't speak to that. Seems a very specific thing to focus on, but you do you.
"I live in the USA where selective service/draft/automatic registry doesn't exist, so I can't speak to that. Seems a very specific thing to focus on, but you do you."
It does, if every 18 to 26yr old male wants to vote he has to sign up for selective services.. Otherwise he can't..
Also, the definition of the dictionary doesn't matter, they'll assign definitions of what they want to words all the time.. What matters are the actions of the word.. And you saying "Oh, the dictionary says that that's what it is" doesn't really proce weather or not feminism is about equality.. It's not and never has been..
America has selective service. You can't speak on it because you didn't get that piece of paper in your mailbox.
In my country, my name was added to the military database.
Not women. You get a free pass.
Thats not equality.
Women also have the benefit of gender quotas. Thats gender discrimination against men and not equality.
Yes it is a very specific thing to bring up because i have to be willing to sacrifice my life for my rights.
So again, why aren't feminists demanding to have the same apply to women since you claim to want equality?
what women say =/= what they do
and there's no such thing as "equality" otherwise men should be allowed in women's bathrooms and compete in women's sports
I think you should also ask what a persons definition of a feminist is and if they would date an anti feminist. The answer would be very insightful
I hope he is neither a feminist nor anti feminist.
No but I would date one who wasn’t actively feminist
Open and thoughtful minds are a must for me. Can't even be friends with a fool. Waste of time and energy.
If he's over 6ft, athletic, handsome, makes 6 figures probably yeah
Whether they realize it or not, 95% of women in a relationship are already dating anti-feminist men.
@Nikki1989 I don't need to know 95% of men to know what the statistics show about what modern men think about modern feminism, and for obvious reasons.
I don’t care about his political views
I hate feminism!
No thank you.
