A really good personality or really good physical appearance.

If I had to pick one as a guy I would pick looks anyday. As to me a girl that’s just sweet and caring and girly is a good personality. I don’t need a good personality just someone calm and obedient.

A few times in my life - very few - I ran into women with A+/10 personalities according to every man who met her. These women could have had any man they wanted take them seriously and feel like it was an honor. They could do it while dressing down and not even trying to look good. They had cute/average looks... not models or what you may think of as "hot". But they were in good shape. So that's the answer.

That personality works. The better looking she is the better that is but looks are like icing on the cake. We're not going to eat a cake that looks like it has turds for icing. But we also aren't going to buy a cake with nasty insides just because the frosting looks amazing. "Buying" is taking her seriously.

Guys don't actually just pick personality tho. We almost always notice looks first and if she doesn't have whatever our minimum standards for looks are then we tune her out. Or there can be a borderline case where she barely meets our standard or something is weird about her looks where we say 'nah' at first. In that case if you were stuck on a deserted island with her for months your opinion would change. Or if you were stuck on a job with her and found out her personality is great, the same thing could happen.

In my whole life... that island/job type situation only happened to be once for a minute and nothing serious developed anyhow. But the island thing works because we are not really wired to care about a 10 point scale. Biologically it's only a 2 point scale. Everything else is cultural/made up excuses/ideas in our minds. Women still wouldn't like it tho because even the two point scale says fat & sloppy is a no.

There's a sweet zone with this stuff. A really ugly person with a perfect personality will pull fewer suitors than someone who's extremely physically attractive with a shitty personality. Depending on whether we're seeking casual sex or something more long term, selection criteria will also differ. In general, the looks-match with optimal personality is what people go for in practice.

A partner who is calm and obedient... A partner who can be her or himself cause she/he needs to do whatever you want... Im speechless...

My partner, needs to feel free to himself, I want push him to thrive to be the best he can be and I would like him to push me to be the best I can be. Id be nice if he has the looks to go with it. Sexual attraction is necessary tho. But a good personality is a must.
