How did you meet your date?

I get it, gets asked a lot. But where did you meet the person? How did things get started? Who approached who?

He approached me :) we exchanged contacts and it turned out that we had a lot of things in common. Because of this we talked almost daily and he asked me out on a date. It was great and he wasn't ever pushy or anything. It wasn't romantic or didn't feel like the "textbook date". More like hanging out with a close friend. A cute close friend :p There was definitely tension between us and we flirted here and there.

One time he went on a one week trip with his family and said "don't miss me too much". And I said not to worry... I missed him. I honestly didn't want to admit it, to myself. I don't know. I haven't dated in a while or felt butterflies, you know so I was like "Is this love? Do I love this guy? Yes I do, but do I LOVE love this guy? Also yes.

I invited him over to binge watch something and after a while I asked him what we were. Then he said we should make it official. I kissed him and that pretty much sealed it :)

@Still-alive I just got off the bus, he followed me and hit me with the "excuse me". Sounds like a stalker, I know, but he didn't come off that way. He was nervous but really friendly. Good energy :) He was a complete stranger

@Still-alive Just small talk to be honest, introducing ourselves. Not much to talk about at that point

We matched online and then decided to meet up in a shopping centre. He called me to see if I was there yet, but we were on opposite ends of the same building, so we hung on the phone for quite a while until we actual found each other.
