Do you prefer to meet people offline or online when it comes to dating?

I much prefer offline. Below are my reasons why.

1. Pictures can be deceiving. I much rather see a person face to face than online. I want to be attracted to my date and it seems like to many people are editing their pictures these days.

2. I prefer to meet people offline to decrease my chances of being scammed. Most scams happen online. It’s possible to be scammed offline but most scams take place online.

3. Also cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is still unfortunately common but most keyboard warriors are probably too cowardly to say the same thing offline to other people face to face. Mean people exist offline but I reckon it’s likely true it’s easier to run into mean people online or people are likely to be meaner online since they feel protected behind a computer/phone screen.
If I stay away from dating websites. I can decrease my chances of being bullied

I'm not going to pick and choose how I meet people, because I'm an adult. I will say this though. I'm more likely to meet a woman in person for the simple fact that I have a pretty strict, "do not message first" policy when it comes to online dating. So a woman has to really be serious about wanting to know me online to get me.

It is so much easier to meet people in the real world. I meet new people almost every day without even trying. It couldn't be more simple.

I agree but even when I do connect with people online I insist on meeting in the first week or so. If they are unwilling, then something is wrong. Relationships are meant to be conducted in person.
