The last one I seriously dated was a student. She hired me as a private tutor.

A long time ago I dated a girl for three years. My friend was in a band and they were playing outside. I looked back and saw two girls climbing over the fence to listen to the band. I ended up dating one of them.

My parents met because my dad missed the last train out that night. If he had been on the train, they would never have met. They were both WW2 generation and people got scattered everywhere. Neither one would have been in the city where they met if not for the war. I imagine that was very common for that generation.

I met my husband while grocery shopping. My boyfriend before that I met at a train station. I met my girlfriend at a metal gig and couldn't hear a word she was saying, but we hit it off anyway. You can meet people literally anywhere.

I met my boyfriend on a city sidewalk. We worked in separate buildings but shared the same parking lot, so we would basically see each other every morning and walk together until he went his way and I went my way.
