Why are men usually so much better off financially than women?

It just seems like men are always the ones with enough money while women are often broke struggling single moms who can't survive without a man

When you look at the college degrees men and women pursue, and the careers they end up in, men dominate the highest paying ones while women dominate the lowest paying one, by choice.

Men also dominate the most dangerous jobs, which pay more for obvious reasons.

Men tend to work longer hours (that's a well-established fact. You can Google it).

Women tend to choose careers for emotional fulfillment whereas men choose for pragmatic reasons (i. e., money).

Women remove themselves from the job market for extended periods to have children, while their men are expected to keep working to support them. The breaks in heir resumes come at a cost.

Women excel early in heir careers, but just as hey start approaching the peek of success, they start asking themselves "why". Why go through all the stress and long hours when I could be home raising a family? The ones that have a man with a successful career often quit to have and raise children while their men keep working and advancing heir careers and earnings.

The best university courses are dominated by men. I study medicine and it is 50% men, not even in medicine are women dominated. In addition, men have a higher IQ and are practically 99% of geniuses.

Oh society certainly does I agree. But it is not only society. Women do have a desire to be beautiful and will pay the dollars. A few years ago a hairdressing chain said men were under exploited (yes they phrased it that way) and said they were going to charge men a lot more and work up to what they charged women.

I went to one of their salons for fun and asked how much for a buzz cut -$50 (should have been $10). I said that is too much and walked out.

Apart from having higher standards placed upon them, women will pay crazy prices. $300 per hairdresser visit. Me - I'm not even willing to pay $10 a cut. Running clippers over my head has cost me 8 cents a week.

"Society". That's a figment of people's imagination and media consumption. If you're going for your looks match in a mate, no makeup required. If you're trying to outcompete other women, makeup is your tool to achieve that. Anything else doesn't matter. Women also make 80% of consumer decisions, i. e. they spend more than they actually need to.

I'll agree women are not equal in the sense of there are more CEO's than women CEO's and that's something that needs to change I'll agree. But women are just as much to blame for that as men when women constantly undercut eachother. Half of you want equality and the other half want to be traditional and you fight with eachother on this fact. Take presidential elections. You're 0 for 2 now in presidential elections. Because women don't even support women. How do you expect a guy to.
But women across the board ARE paid the same as men.

You aren't completely wrong. Women do generally choose jobs that pay less, which is why I included that in my opinion, it's A reason, not the only reason.
