I matched with this guy on a dating app and we've been talking for the past four days. He asked me out to get food. But afterward I realized he's into men as well. I don't want to change my mind about the date because I think it might upset him. He's already said he has issues with his confidence. So what should I do?

Personally I like more masculine men, so that I can feel more feminine (bc I don't feel feminine very often). However I know a lot of bisexual guys that are still very masculine. A lot different than most of the gay men I know! So yes I would absolutely date a bisexual guy if he's my type and has my preferences. But currently I am dating a straight man, and I'm super happy with him haha. Gonna keep it like that ;)

My current partner is bi. He told me on our first date because he didn't want it to a secret or an issue down the line if we kept talking. He's been with men. Doesn't bother me because I know that I am his priority, and he has no desire to see anyone else (male or female) outside of me. He's both told and shown me as much.

He's also made it apparent that he's hetero-romantic.

Just to put it into perspective, bisexuals were the ones that transferred HIV/AIDS to women during the 80s and 90s. Let that sink in.

This is actually not true and a dangerous narrative. Very very few cases can be attributed to sex between bi men and straight women. Majority of cases of HIV/AIDS came from drug use and contaminated blood transfusion centers. Continuing to villainize bi and gay men over HIV/AIDS does absolutely fuck all to help the cause, infact it hurts it. Spread helpful resources, like how to get tested, or information on PrEP. Spread love not hate 💜
