Depends on how country it is , if they talk like they’re in deliverance , I might be a tad turned off , but I do like the southern twang of a guy when he says darling. I love my southern guys sometimes.

I'll be honest. To my English ears it does make a person seem a bit backwards. But I suppose it could be endearing. The devil is in the detail, ie her other qualities and just how strong it is.

To me it does, I personally find it grating on my ears.
Not do to any sort of impression of the person, but rather just the accent sounds by themselves.
