Same reason that non-Southern women love Southern accents. I am a California girl, but I should have been born in the South. I love country boys though, but the southern accent the drawl and twang sounds so interesting. I just love to listen to people with a Southern accent talk! Trace Adkins is a perfect example! Different accents almost always sound attractive... it's just interesting to hear words differently. And since you're a woman of course the men are going to be all the more interested.
I have a southern twang but I would probably have to leave the south for people to go crazy over it. Well I like guys with northern accents, like NYC guys sound so sexy to me.
It depends on the person, some people have a nice southern accent and some people have a annoying one, But I guess you could day that about any accent.

i find it kind of annoying for some reason, especially if the accent is very thick and ill have no clue what the persons talking about.
I find certain accents sexy, but southern is not one of them. It actually makes me cringe. It's as if I was being stabbed in my ears with a toothpick.
I don't think it's any sexier than northern.
