Is it to early to say I’m in REAL love?

Since we got in contact again, my crush (let’s call him Devin) and I have been taking a lot. Our date last week was amazing! We talked caught up. He isn’t the same person he was back in high school. People do change after high school. After Devin dropped me off home, he asked me to be his valentine and I said yes! I am in love! We’ve been texting everyday. My friends don’t like that I am dating him. They reminded me about what he did to me back in high school.

Devin called us retarded because we were in special education. He ignored me because I was fat at 266lbs. Been 5’11 since age 13. He asked me to prom only to humiliate me, and he kept leaving me for his friends and abandoned me. He didn’t let me know he was leaving. I ended up hanging out with my guy friend (let’s call him Eddy, the one that has a crush on me) and his best friend (let’s called me Jared). Eddy asked me to dance with him and I said fine. He told me Devin was an idiot for leaving me and warned me about going with him. Devin was a jock. Played basketball ball, good looking, athletic and 6’4. They think he’s using me for my body.

Devin is a changed man. He’s matured but even my parents said be careful. My dad said it’s obvious that Eddy likes me and don’t lead him on. I’m not.

Anyways I am in love and my Eddy’s best friend Jared said I don’t really like this guy. I keep dating guys in front of Eddy to avoid my feel feelings. He reminded me that I was jealousy and upset that he had a girlfriend. I was NOT jealous of him! He told me to cut the BS and admit that I like him and I even said his name when I was with my ex boyfriend. THAT was a mistake!
