Do women actually like the “Dad Bod”?

People have told me that they like the “dad bod” over someone who’s really fit. How can this be?

Some girls do and some do not , everyone has their own preferences of what they like and don’t like , so yes there are girls’that love Dad bods. After I had my gall bladder removed , I ended up putting on some pounds and my belly got chubby as well. I can’t work out , until I get my next surgery taken care of , per my doctors’ orders , or I could mess myself up even more , apparently o have 3 big tumors underneath my rib cage that I am getting removed , My doctor said if I work out I can screw up my nervous system. I am bummed out cuz I enjoyed working out but unfortunately I can not at this time. I didn’t think girls’ would be attracted to me anymore because of the weight I put on , but apparently I was wrong , Girls’ are still hitting on me and asking me out and having sex with me. So some girls’ aren’t as visual as men can be

Thanks bro , I appreciate it, I am more than likely going to be ok , but it sucks that I have to go through this shit lol , I finally have my Doctors appointment this coming Tuesday for my MRI and then hopefully my surgery will be shortly after that. They don’t think is cancer but it can still mess up my nervous system if I wait any longer , the surgeon that took my gall bladder out is the one that noticed them and made me aware. So thank God for him

I think men and women have different definitions on what a dad bod is which is what creates the confusion


Being flat stomached is an evolutionary sign of hunger and starvation.
Which is why it’s naturally unattractive.


So having s layer of meat on your bones is important


But being fat is also an unfavorable look because you’re quite literally a weakened human


So it’s also important to not be “fat”


Hence why the dad bod


The middle ground between the two extremes

It depends. There's a difference between "dad bod" and a guy who is simply out of shape. If I have to make the effort to stay in shape (not just for looks, but for overall health as well) then I'd like my guy to do the same.

At age 30, I still have the body and arms (you can see my bones and I ain't no vegan/no veggie either, I do eat veggies and fruit though as much as any other food groups like meat, fast food, home cooked meals, Italian, more) more :)

And I don't do gym. I do walk where I can. And so far - no gut overhangs yet 😀🙃🫠😅🫠😉 but google tells me, the stomach pushing out is inevitable for all men past 30 - it's no one's fault.

Yes they do. But a dad bod is subjective. It’s not the 40 year old dad with the beer belly. It’s the guy who is in shape just not 7 days at the guy cut and ripped.
