Why do girls like the dad bod?

No women likes the 'Dad Bod'. Its bulshit.

The only body type women like is ripped. You can say ''omg no all guys are nice'' and ''everyone is beautiful in their own way'' all you want but you, i, and everyone knows its bulshit. This is the only body girls like :

If you see a girl dating a guy who's body does not look like its because of these reasons:
A) She herself is not very attractive and had to settle
B) She is within a 0.01% minority of women
C) She is trying to be a hipster.

Lets just face reality all ready, Not all guys are hot, Only the 5% who actually have ripped bodies are. The other 95% should all just either spend the next 5 years in the gym, OR just give up.

I don't think women really do. They just like the idea that their boyfriends would rather try out any restaurants with them and see them everyday instead of hitting the gym everyday and seeing them only on weekends on top of having a strict low-carb low-fat high-protein diet that makes it very complicated to go to restaurants with them.
At least that's why I would prefer a dad bod to a toned bod.

I've always liked the dad bod. It's cute to me, and men dont have to have a six pack or be a twig. Dad bods are so nice to lay on! Of course as he gets older, he has to lose it. When men have high belly fat around the stomache and chest area, they are more at risk for heart problems :0

I know @lonelylillie13 believe me, as you age 2 things happen. You don't see the aging as much in others and you care a lot less about looks and an awful lot more about what's inside. I just wanted to point out that dad boss weren't the only ones that age.

Most girls don't like the dad bod, at least not the young girls, they still prefer a ripped body. Maybe later in age when they can't be so picky they start liking the dad bod, or at least tolerate it.

There are some girls that do, and it's just preference, but make them choose between a guy that's ripped and a guy with a dad bod, and 90% will choose the ripped guy.

i think the biggest appeal is that if they don't have an extremely ripped body, it means they have time to do other more valuable things with their time. But that's only if the dad bod guy was productive.
