That’s literally you lol that must be a filter, but regardless of who it is, it displays trust because they are resting with each other. That, or a long time knowing each other, had a trial and maybe considering next steps like ending the relationship. Whether negative or positive, I think they know each other well enough to have trust and the trust is shown in them being close and resting/ leaning on each other. Hopefully they are well and will do better. What can be admired is the nice tone of colors and the assurance they know each other enough to trust and rest and in taking a moment to be still they will probably come to solutions to any situation they may encounter. It’s a very intimate image. The colors scheme is also calming and not very loud either.
❤️ It’s created based on very same photo of ours, it’s exact copy just colored by my family members.
Reminds me of the artwork from one of the Lord of the Rings cartoons from the 70s…
It’s a interesting painting but remember art is open to interpretation some people may see different meaning in it then others. Maybe different then the original painter painted it to be but that’s the beauty of art.
I will say it can display love and trust. It can also display that he’s hiding something. It can display that he’s deeply in love closing his eyes in embrace. It could even mean as someone said he’s staring at her chest and she’s annoyed.
But it is a nice painting
It looks like the guy shows love and affection for the girl.
The girl probably would have similar feelings or at least trust for the guy. Otherwise she probably wouldn't let him get so close.
So it portrays love and affection from the guy and trust from the girl.

2 really high Cartoon people. And she just opened the rise to find out what What he's doing. And she's reaching for the last cookie
Makes we want to go to sleep.
lol, why
@lafemmefatale_1 It's calm and soothing, and the guy already looks like he's asleep
That’s sweet
Looks like he is looking at her boobs and she looks like she is annoyed by it lol
Intimacy. Not necessarily sexual but could be
Not love or trust?
I can see both.
To me , its like an uncontrollable lust , I think everyone knows that feeling , and the look says it all.
it portrays a trusting loving relationship to me. they feel so at peace with each otherrrr💕💕
It makes me miss Patrick Nagel.

I feel that it's rather a sketching than a painting :)
What the maker of this may have intended to put into it: I see two people being very familiar with each other. I see calmness and a degree of feeling secure.
He feels peace with her and she feels safe, that's what I see.
There is surely an intimacy there but with there expressions and body language.
it looks to me the crash and burn scenario, the one is in love and the other one is in habit. conveying the emotions of infatuation and lust.
Makes me think he's got something to hide from her as he'd be looking at her face
His eyes are closed
He’s asleep and she’s thinking “what am I doing with this guy? As she’s also thinking of Mario The cashier at Walmart where she works.
Nope, I don’t work at Walmart. I am a lecturer actually.
Well you asked us “what feelings the painting causes us?”
You never mentioned that you were the artist. So your response makes no sense I’m sorry.
It reminds me of a painting my grandfather and family made for me of my girlfriend. , I am wondering if I should throw it out?
Romance and passion
None. I see it, but it doesn't me feel any particular way.
