whoever coined the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" never met Dali... his paintings are worth a trillion books! there are so many stories and histories and future stories all trying to come out through this painting because when he painted it - he was trying very hard to share information that he thought we needed to know. and anyone who would put themselves in such a position is someone i want to listen to. or look at. but always feel.

Does all dark art make you feel extreme? It's a genuine q, all female responses are very strong, as if that can't be emotionally digested (I find it ugly in that 'the ugly side of being human' way, but more than half of art is)
