When you are on dating apps, what do you not see in the guys' profile that you wish you did? What did he leave out that he should have put in? What do you wish he would ask you about to get a conversation started? In his "about" section, would you rather he make a funny/flirty comment or try to express his personality?

There is no magic answer here, and every woman will be different, so don't hold back. Guys online want to know this.

Personality. I want to see some kind of life in your answers. Give me something other than the generic answers. That's why I like Hinge because they give you a lot of prompts to choose from but you still have to say something intriguing. Like I want to know something random and totally different from the usual. Like maybe you saved a dog from being hit by a car once or you shaved off all your hair for someone in your family suffering from cancer. I don't know. Something.

I also want to just know what you want in a girl besides the usual. Like the guy I matched with and went on a date with said he liked quirky girls and that's what made me match with him. I've never seen a guy say that before on a profile.

Honestly, I’d love to see more personality in guys’ profiles. Like, what are they actually passionate about or what makes them excited? I’d appreciate it if they asked deeper questions, like "What's something you couldn’t live without?" or "What’s a dream you're chasing?"

For the "about" section, humor is cool, but I’d rather see them express who they really are, not just try to be funny or flirty. Being real is so much more attractive. 😊

Speaking from experience. A man gets best results when he says as little as possible on his dating profile. The only thing you're most likely to do by posting is turn her off. It's always best to let the goblins in her head create the story for you.

Alright, so I don't use dating apps. If I did, I suppose I'd like to know what he believes his personality is like in general. Is he outgoing? Does he still value time with friends? Stuff like that.

I'd also want a good amount of info about what his likes and dislikes. Hobbies, typical life things, goals, etc.

For me it's all about personality but I'm definitely not opposed to humor either. I'm a sucker for bad puns and dad jokes so anyone with that kind of personality is going to get a match from me.

Other than that, it's about interests. How much do we align on our free time? If you mention you are into games, I'm definitely down to talk about that. Outdoorsy stuff is a pass for me, but it might be a match to others so just be pretty open about what you like and want from a partner.
