Should special needs people only date each other and give up on dating non disabled people?

Okay guys. Im autistic. I’m just going to be straight up honest with you guys. I don’t think I will EVER find the man of my dreams.

Let’s face it, most men that I want and like never like me back. I’ve only had two boyfriends in my life. My first boyfriend had ADHD.

I went on dates with NT guys and that ended up disappointing. My current ex boyfriend cheated on me with another woman and said he couldn’t handle being with a woman that’s “special needs” and it’s better if I stick with men in my own league. Stick with special needs men and broke my heart. I took myself out of dating for. I give up. I don’t want to be special needs all my life. I thought I would grow out of being special needs but I keep getting reminded that even though I’m an adult I am still special needs and I should accept that I will never be like the neurotypical people (people with no disabilities, general people).

Let’s face it, I’m picky. I masked a lot because I didn’t want to be treated like I’m helpless or special needs (which I HATE that term) because people with disabilities and ND people get discriminated a lot harshly. I’ve always dream of having a wedding, marrying the man of my dreams. Being picked up and carried but my ass is too tall and fat (231lbs and 5’10”1/2). Guys find me intimidating because I’m tall and a bigger woman. I’m 26, STILL single, autistic (aspergers), still live at home, I don’t drive (getting back into learning) and let’s face it, I don’t have what it takes to date. I know my friends introduced me or tried to hook me up with men but I kept saying no.
