I am at my 20s any advice?

Don’t feel like you’re somehow old or missing out on things
20 is just another random age


Keep your head up, get a degree in a marketable field
(You’ll have time to pursue passions and hobbies but don’t try earning a living from arts it’s a pipe dream)


Don’t be afraid of going out and making mistakes, make friends, lovers, enemies if you have to.


Obviously don’t do drugs. (At least not hardcore drugs, a little joint never hurts in extreme moderation)


And don’t bother making concrete plans for the future:

If you’re going to college, do a trade or do one of the main majors. Otherwise you’re going to be wasting your time and pilling on debt you’ll never be able to pay off.




If you’re working full time, setup your 401k asap.

Enjoy it! It goes fast. I didn't get serious till my mid 20's. And the smartest thing I did was getting serious about investing at that time. I've always invested 15% of my income since my mid 20's. It's why I have a higher net worth than most of my peers today that have made more than me. Still this is why I say ENJOY IT! Because to quote Ironman "no amount of money ever bought a second of time". Time is the only resource you can't get more of.
