My bestfriend has a girlfriend. They broke up last week and he’s been coming to me for confort. I’ve always known him in a relationship and last week we got drunk twice and ended up in bed twice- i feel horrible. Do you think i wrecked our friendship beyond repair by sleeping with him?

The fact that you feel bad says something I do feel like there is underlying feelings for one another that maybe you both have had for some time. Did it come out the wrong way? Yes it did.

You’re going to have to have these conversations together about how you feel if you feel horrible. How to repair the friendship and if you see one another a lot more then just friends. It’s normal to build attraction but I agree that the way you went about it was reckless. If you genuinely care for one another I think it can be worked out by talking and being honest.

They broke up last week and you immediately fcked him in the same week. Twice. You’re no friend, and you will feel that shift in the weeks or days to come. Especially if he gets back with his ex, you’ve crossed boundaries that you can no longer be just his friend and his ex would not want him around you. I know I wouldn’t.
