Guys, Would you care if a young woman you liked on a dating app had a child, is it a deal breaker?

I'm a guy; I use dating apps on the side to find someone. I've noticed young women in their 30s have liked my profile lately, but I see that they are divorced and have a child. I don't want to be completely judgmental because, although I am not married, I don't have kids, nor have I ever been married. I know women who may know this about me may consider it a red flag that I've never been married and I'm in my 30s myself. So I don't want to judge someone's pass that harshly. But when a child is in the picture. I just wanted to know how guys feel and how you approach that situation, would you say forget it or give it a chance. My thing with the child is will they listen to me. I'm not some authoritative guy like DO YOUR HOMEWORK NOW OR I WILL BEAT YOU! But yeah, values wise I would hope that her and I are on the same page and together the child will understand. But I dunno.

There’s no upside to dating a single mother. Either she’s never going to invest fully in you because of her kids or you’re the reason she’s not fully invested in her kids. Even if you can accept either or both of those options, you have to walk the tenuous path of being in the life of a child that doesn’t have to respect and obey you. You will absolutely have to provide for that kid as though they’re your own though, at her discretion of course.
You have to be an idiot or a masochist to enter into such a completely one-sided arrangement. But hey, idiots and masochists probably deserve some semblance of contentment too. I guess.

Pretty much, she's divorced, she has a child. Her judgment alone makes me not want to bother with her. Raising someone else's kid doesn't seem like much of a goal in life either. I have no children, if I did I'd want the whole thing to be just me and her and what ever children that came of our relationship. No one else involved. Society often tries to shame men into these kinds of relationships but it's just a way of getting the burden of those children off of the government and on to some man who will shoulder the burden instead. Also those women won't stick around anyway, it'll be over in 3 to 5 years or so.

Obviously I would care, because you can't not take it into consideration. Is it a dealbreaker? It depends on everyone, and everyone's situation.
