I don't presume to think all women become immediately attracted to men whose preferred medium of info. gathering is through reading books, specifically. "Books" is a broad plural word used, generally, to describe a medium of communication that encompass a wide range of source written (nowadays, typed or converted to typed) material, such as story, academic literature, early childhood learning, etc. The attraction is oftentimes veering on what might be called sapiophilia (sexual attraction to mental connection or perceived or known intelligence of a particular type another expresses), for some, while for others, assumptive reasoning by way of assuming all persons who read books are more intelligent (capable of reasoning, critical thinking, etc.) than the average person who does not; to some extent, this has been demonstratively true, but intelligence is a broad spectrum and nobody can learn everything (all the intelligences) just by reading a book much like how TV can't do so, either. Attraction depends on the woman and not "women" as a sex or as a whole.

I can't speak for every woman but not me. Which is kind of ironic for me because I'm a writer and avid book reader but I don't really care if a guy loves reading books. My ex wasn't really a book reader and I don't think the current guy I'm seeing is either.

But I would prefer someone who has different passions and hobbies except music. We have to both be into some of the same music. But other than that, we can have differences in what we like to do.

As opposed to an illiterate?
Pretty sure the one who reads gets points for it

But it’s not the act of reading a book itself
It’s the implied appreciation for the finer things and the “sophistication” of it all

So even if you’re not into books
Any adult hobby you might have would be appealing to a woman

(And by that I just mean not videogames)

And this coming from a guy who loves video games and isn’t a big time reader

Still I so try my best to live as an adult considering I am one

My guess is, if the woman is someone that really really loves reading and writing, she might find herself attracted to a man like this because He's doing what she loves to do too.

Yes, absolutely. That will make him more attractive in my eyes as I l was an avid reader for a long time growing up (I'd get lost in the world and would not feel hungry for hours and didn't want to do anything until I finish the novel, lol) and in my early 20s before life got too busy. I think if he loves reading books then it will more fun as we can discuss the story, the characters, what was his prediction and all.

I’m sure that they do. After all, just like us they are going to find certain books interesting, and a source of knowledge.

But I would also say that they, just like our view on themselves, wouldn’t want us to be continually reading. After all they are, or I assume so, that they would like some of our attention, and vice versa.

I don’t know. But I don’t find the attractive, i like intelligent people. But people who spend to read book as a hobby aren’t attractive to me.
