I hate online dating, but think im confident enough to power through and approach a girl. HOW DOES THIS SOUND?

I say hello, say i like her outfit or something like that and start a basic convo about movies. Then I say, "I dont really know how to talk to girls, but you seem nice, I'm in a very toxic relationship right now... could I take you out?"

Personally, I love a man just being respectful but also straightforward. “Hi, I’m sorry to bother you but I saw you and couldn’t go on with my day without telling you how beautiful you are.”
See how she responds and if it’s positive, follow up with, “if you’re not seeing anyone and you’d like to, could I get your number because I’d love to take you on a date” Oh how that would have me all giddy lol.


I once bought a drink at a corner shop and seen the most attractive man in my life (controversial because my friends didn’t find him attractive), we held eye contact on and off and eventually I went back to the shop next door to my friends and this guy followed me there, probably got too nervous seeing my two friends and left. I walked out after him but he already ran to his car across the road and proceeded to yell out “you’re so beautiful” as he drove off. I wish he’d come up to me and told me😭

It's not the same for all women, obvi, but personally I like to be approached in a simple, respectful manner, not picked up with some cheesy line.

Most women want to be stared at creepily or have their butt grabbed from behind with no warning.

C'mon guys, this ain't hard. Be polite and courteous. Well spoken. Well dressed. Walk up and look her in the eyes. Introduce yourself. Shake hands. Say something with a smile. Address her friends as well. Don't overstay your welcome if she's out with friends. If the answer is "no thank you", exit graciously and wish her a great evening. She could have a thousand reasons. Don't matter. Don't make her make up lies to get rid of you. Don't get pissy. Don't embarrass yourself. Be a man. Be a gentleman. Relax and enjoy your evening.

First you need the proper place to approach. Hitting on women on the street is just scary. In a bar or store you might ask a question. Absolutely do not open with a comment on her physical appearance. Do not ask for a date until you have had some conversation. If she engages with you, then at the natural end of the conversation you can give her your number.
