Hospitals and cemeteries are full of risk takers that have misjudged how far they can go and that later regretted (if still alive) having taken unnecessary risks.

Of course not. I am not a risk taker. Why should I jeopardize my health and risk my life for a few seconds of fame, for 5 lines in the local newspaper or for doing something stupid that will make my insurance premium go skyrocketing.

One only lives once and thus I intend to make the most of it and not end my life prematurely by taking risks. There are enough other brainless people that will take the necessary steps for health costs going up year after year.

Meh… depends on the task at hand. Some things are worth the risk and others aren’t.

I would say I'm pretty risk averse. If I know I'm unlikely to win something, I don't take the chance. This can be both good and bad in life. But in my opinion, I prefer the outcome to be in my control if I can help it.
