For me it would be. I cap it at like 3 or 4 years personally for dating, maybe 5 or 6 tops for hook-ups. I just really don't see people significantly older or younger than me to be attractive like that, ya know? (10 years younger than me would be a literal child anyway so there's that.)

if i had to pick an exact scientific range i guess something like 22-50
but at 22 he would have to be extra confident and at 50 he would have to be extra fit!!🙈🙈

I've already dated a girl temporarily when I was 28 and she was 18. It didn't last long, and she ended whatever we had within 2 weeks, though.

I don't think age matters much, although I don't think I'd date a woman much older than myself CURRENTLY, as I want to start a family of my own one day. I think I'm still not financially ready to have kids, so a 35+ year old woman probably wouldn't be ideal for me as of right now.

If I didn't want kids or already have them, age would literally be a non-factor for me.

I don't see why I would pass up on someone I find physically attractive and has a compatible personality with me just because there's a larger than usual age gap. As long as there's mutual attraction and consent, age gaps do not matter.

My rule has always been a /- 10 years. I've considered younger because I have a 24 year old friend who has made it clear he's into me romantically, but that's just way too young for me to actually follow through.

Thankfully, it hasn't hurt our friendship at all. He's still one of my best friends on this planet.
