What Girls Said
Not really. I don’t deal with the glass ceiling in my job and they started calling me Ellie instead of “the girl” at work, so everything else is just fine with me for what I have vs what men have.
Why would they call you "the girl"?
I guess because they hadn’t bothered to learn my name yet 🤷♀️ It didn’t last long, especially once I got my name on my office door. Then it was asking them call me Ellie, not Elizabeth, which is not a big deal. I guess it’s better than saying the one in the skirt with boobs
At my old job, I definitely heard some male coworkers refer to a female coworker as "the skirt"
I sometimes jokingly refer to ourselves as skirts when I’m with my friends and our men. But I’m just being silly. It’s rude when it’s being serious.
I would never call a women that seriously or joking
yes. men can basically do, wear and say wtv they want and face no concequences at all
I sometimes have penis envy , other than that , no not really
