Do you find it rude in a way if you're at a store at the mall and when it is check out time the cashier is making small talk with your boyfriend while you are next to him? He proceeds to ask questions instead of just giving short answers...

But if the person at the register is just passing the time with "and how are you today?" fluff, that's just the way the person is... Not everyone is a wooden-brained automaton. If you don't want a talking person at the register go to self-checkout.

Honestly, I don’t really like it. When it’s checkout time, I want things to be quick and simple. If the cashier talks only to my boyfriend and ignores me, it feels a bit awkward and rude. It would be nicer if they included both of us or just kept it short. Sorry not sorry.

The fact you feel jealous shows how insecure you are in your relationship, it could be your relationship needs more time to strength, or it's just you have trust issues

Anyway, he must try to be considerable and not do things that make you upset in the future

I mean I trust him but recently yes we haven't spend as much time together so it is getting to me for sure. I don't feel as connected because he has two boys, he works night shift, he got promoted so yes it is taking a bit of a toll in the relationship because we can't just get up and go places he needs to always find a babysitter and such. It's a lot of patience on my end that's for sure but you're right I shouldn't get jealous

Not really sure what you’re getting at. Most retail staff are literally paid to be nice to people because if they aren’t people will go complain that they were rude. So as long as someone’s not trying to hold someone in conversation when they’re trying to walk away no.

I can't say I've ever had a cashier trying to chat me up when I'm with a woman checking out at a mall. But I'd almost never be there in the first place. So there's that.

She was pretty, the fact that he had the continue the conversation is what got to me. He could easily have just caught it off. Maybe it's just me too, maybe there's things I need to work on as well. Like he said it wasn't flirty and that's how he is even at work he is kind plus he is assistant manager so he has to be, I guess I just don't like it when it's done in front of me
