  One should be extra kind when on a date with wait staff because they do pay attention and see what is going on between the two of you … so they can either help make the moment better or worse depending on how treated. Heck, they’ll even check on you or gush on you regarding your ‘date’ when they excuse themselves for the restroom. They will even help you bail if they sense your date is, ‘off’. Been down that path once. Yeah, wait staff are your ally. Don’t understand why some would treat them like an inferior.

It was about 8 years ago. It was a blind double date with one of my best friends, his then girlfriend (now wife), and her roommate. The roommate was nice and cute, but we both knew right away that it wasn't going to work out, so we never followed up the date. Since then, I've had too much on my plate to be able to date, but I'm starting to put myself out there again.

A couple months ago. It was with a pink haired girl, she looked beautiful, petite, so talkative. I loved spending dinner with her, getting to know her. But it didn't work out. One date and she stopped texting me. Said she didn't find me interesting

  That’s nice that she decided to call you. It sounds like a very cute story. Too bad it didn’t work out. It probably has to do with her being more outgoing than you. People like that seem to think less of people who don’t talk as much as them. You’d probably do better with someone who’s a bit more of an introvert.
