When is the last time you were on a proper date?

My fiancée and I live together. I take her out to dinner 2-3 times per week. We go to the beach. We go to the mall. We go to church. We go to a friend's home. We visit my mom and step-dad. But I just think of these activities as "the stuff" of which life is made, and I don't think of these activities as "dates."
My last proper date with her was March 10, 2023, when we were both dressed nicely, I took her to the restaurant where we had our first date in December, 2020, and I got down on one knee and proposed to her.
Sweet.
@Massageman It was done the right way. . . and I know you understand what I am saying!
Thanks for MHO!
I took my wife on a date this past Saturday. Her and I are going on another date this Sunday for mother's day
Very nice.
We try to go out once a month at least.
Thanks for the mho coach

The question is simple, but the answers are telling. Aside from a single person who said "recently", everyone else is married or can measure their not-dating life in years. Unless dating is increasingly undesirable, which it very well may be, it seems unavailable or unattainable for a large swath of people.
As for myself, it's been several years. The more relevant question is, "it is worth it?" What matters more, a relationship or a roof over your head? That should be a rhetorical question, but... its not.
A few days ago with my significant other. Went to a nice Cuban restaurant before we went to the movies.
You mean in the context of being single? That was years ago when I was getting to know my now girlfriend. Went for Ice skating and a walk along the beach with some ice cream.
My wife and I go to bruch every Saturday or Sunday morning. Using Yelp, we just go through the list trying new places. We have done thos for over 5 years, when we reach the bottom we start over again.
It gives us our time, and also allows us a chance to explore new restaurants.
I have been married for years, but we still go on romantic dates every weekend.
Nice 👍
Hmm.. a date? I don't know.. I don't remember.. I went to the movies with my ex last year in April.. but it wasn't really a date we were broke up but both wanted to see the movie so went together.. before that.. god knows..
A very long time ago maybe 6 years... I just don't enjoy dates tho they give me to much anxiety
Me and fisnce rarely get time for dates, Two toddlers to look after.
We did take some time 2 weeks ago. Went Axe throwing then lunch in a nice restaurant
Last month, really simple and fun time, dinner, movie, then walking on the lake front.
I think it was sushi and john wick 4.
Ohh no spoilers but was it better than 3, cause I don't know about you but that was shit, I loved 1 and 2 and was so hyped that I brought no 3 the day it went on the shelf and watched it that night, and I very gradually deflated, there was pretty much no story in 3 all it was, was back to back fights the things I thought was awesome in 1 & 2, were too overpowered in 3.
@19magic 3 was a steaming pile of dog shit, while the dogs were probably the best part of that nasty movie.
4 is pretty much the same, with the fights getting even more ridiculous, he falls off 5 story buildings while shooting in the air and stuff to walk it off. I'd say it's the worst for weapons as they really only use probably 4 weapon systems for the majority of the movie, like everyone is using the same cookie cutter world-wide and across different agencies.
No plot, you can guess the ending maybe 10 minutes in. We just wanted a dark place to cuddle, somewhere different, with background noise, it was a matinee, so it was pretty empty. It was the best of bad options lol.
They're even making a 5th one, I'm thinking the only way left to go is a prequel or superhero movie, seriously...
That sucks, I was hoping you'd say otherwise, it had such great promise but yeah you need to be realistic. They just like beating the horse to death. It's like taken, the first couple were pretty great, 3 was okay and I then didn't bother watching the others. If you like sword scenes you should watch the live action movie black butler it's English subbed, but I do think it's the best sword one I've ever seen - probably because I don't think it's acting the dude probably owns one of these.
I never been on a date with a man when the last time I took myself out a few years ago before the pandemic and before that my girlfriend at the time took me out
Back in February I wanted to be friends first even though I liked him more. We went Dutch and had Indian.
Wife & I went to a concert a couple weeks ago after dining out and having breakfast after the concert. Going to another one this Friday and then another at the end of the month. So three dates in 4-5 weeks?
Way too long. Probably our anniversary last year...
Been like what... a year ago... nowdays i am out of dating buisness 😂... focusing on myself and my career
What do you do?
This past weekend. I went out with a girl that had been very friendly towards me the past few weeks.
I’m not sure what makes a proper date? I go to buffets often with my boyfriend
Last weekend my boyfriend and I went to DC for a small trip. We both dressed up and went out to dinner at a nice restaurant. The next day we went to the Smithsonian museum and walked around the mall area. It was great 😊
Second week of March 2020, I still have a girlfriend. We have been together since June 29, 2018. We both want to go on a legitimate date, but COVID-19 is still an issue for me.
Don't you have any other concerns in your life? Do you even work? Unless you have a contract with the site 😂
March😊
I had a great night with him. We were just talking random stuffs on the boardwalk 😋😊
