What kind of deep questions should a woman ask a guy when first dating

Depends on the guy. Some guys are uncomfortable with deep questions altogether. You have to get a read on the person. Test the waters with one deep question and see how they react.

For me, I love deep questions and everything is laid on the table. That's the only way I tend to get engaged in conversations with others. Getting to truly know one another.

Do the questions really have to be deep? You got to remember we're the gender that gets shamed for having feelings at all more than half the time. Usually by your gender. So ask the usual bullshit he expects a woman to ask.

“Deep” varies between guys. Those sort of questions naturally come out when you’re talking to them.
Some good questions to ask that open the door to deep questions are asking how he grew up, who taught you your important life lessons, favorite Christmas year experience, etc

I find it quite awkward to give you an answer , because the risk here is that you're about to treat deepness like a strategical asset, whereas  it isn't, it is a way of life  instead. Assuming you're going to come up with a deep question borrowed from someone else, what will happen at the second question, or the tenth, when it's gonna get obvious that all you ever had was a smokescreen? You see my point.

Basically, what they're looking for long term. On the second date my fiancée (girlfriend at that time) discussed our views on premarital sex, kids, marriage, and other things. Since we all agreed on those, we decided that our relationship had a chance. Well, we're engaged so I guess we were right.
