With the way she phrased it she might have meant he won't go down on her until they're married not never. I could be wrong, and he doesn't like it but she was vague enough with it that might be what she meant. I think what she means is that a lot of people perform oral a few times before sex itself is on the table and he won't even do that until they're married.

He has made it clear that he does not want to engage in sexual intercourse, nor does he expect me to do so, even if I agree. He prefers to reserve that aspect of our relationship until after marriage.

That shows a lot of character, self-control and discipline. He sounds like a very honest and good dude and I think the odds of him cheating are pretty much 0. You caught a great fish from what I can hear so don't throw him back or you'll probably regret it. The dude is legit marriage material and a lot of guys don't even want to get married anymore period because of how divorce works. Hell I won't get married. I'll do a ceremony I'll be loyal all be married in all the ways that matter but I'll NEVER sign a wedding certificate unless we have an Iron tight Pre-nup

Thank you for the advice! I really needed this.. I'm actually the one who's being cautious, and I'm glad to hear that you think my partner is a great catch. It's interesting that you bring up the idea of a pre-nup, though that's definitely something to consider in any serious relationship.

It's honestly a good idea. People change and bad things happen in life. There are real world examples of kind people becoming monsters after a head injury for example. If something like that happens that might not be the person you married anymore and you'll need to get divorced regardless of how you once or even still feel.

I know that's a very specific example but my point is life happens and bad things happen too and it's best to be prepared when safety measures are available. It's just like paternity tests too. Hell It's actually fairly common for hospitals to accidently mix up babies and send you home with someone else's child on accident. Can you imagine raising a child for ten years and suddenly you find out that it's not even you and your wife's child but a stranger that got mixed up with your real kid? Even if you'd be fine with that it raises thousands of problems connected to custody of the child who the rightful parents are and what's best for the child.

If he was desperate, he'd sleep with her the moment he got consent. As for socially clueless I have no idea what you mean. If being careful about who you sleep with and making sure you take a relationship seriously is "Socially clueless" then I expect you have crap taste in me.
