If you were very rich, what would be the first thing you would do?

Well im poor lol but I will go to the store time to time by a couple jars peanut butter and jelly bread complications of lota and I will take it down and give it to the homeless people


But if I was rich and depending how rich. I would go and rent a room for homeless people so they could take a shower every day and try to get back in the swings of life

I would probably walk into a Doctor's office and tell them to give me 50 people.
That are behind on paying. There bill or haven't been able to pay in long time and pay their bills for them. Especially if they were for kids.

I'd buy land, build my own off grid self sustained home, renovate my own campervan (yes I'd still build them myself even if I was rich. There's more satisfaction like that). I'd use some of it on my own business ventures... more about building a legacy. I'd write a book and promote it using the help of paid ads. I'd hire artists to make my book into a manga. And anything left over I'd use to sustain my business and help my family and loved ones live happily ever after.

Everyday people talk about what they would do if they for instance were to win one of those mega huge lotteries, but that is totally different than what would happen if they did suddenly become ultra rich.
In my particular case with my husband involved with international finance and lending I am confident he knows exactly what we would do.
It's been proven over and over again that a good many who come suddenly into great wealth in a short amount of time end up broke again. This includes lottery winners, sport super stars etc.

Donate a good chunk of it to a charitable organization and spend the rest updating my living space and traveling with my loved ones.

If I were rich, I'd have specific reasons for being disabled like this.

I'd rather keep quiet about it. But I'd have grown into it, and so there isn't really a 'first thing'.

If I were 'suddenly' rich, then this would be an accident, or coincidence.

The first thing - again- would be to keep quiet about it. I'd next silently buy some acres of land, surround it with a moat and a jungle, and alligators, and... build me a small and comfy hut to live in.

The first thing I would do is going on vacation for at least a month. Then I would decide how to make that money work for me through a variety of investments. Definitely hire people to help me with just that.
