10 moNever until recently. Ever since the early 2000’s when I reached young adulthood, I was always being told by almost everyone in my life that I should be dating men 10 to 15 years older than me. I spent the next 20 years writing it off as crap. The last guy I dated was 2 years older than me and he treated me horribly. The two before him two timed me and were talking to other girls behind my back, I just realized that I had horrible luck with the ones my age and if I wasn’t getting heartbroken by guys my age, I was getting annoyed with them and put off by them. I then realized that maybe everyone was right and I should be dating older guys, so now I’m giving it a try.

11 moIt's been a one to three year difference, him always being older. The guy I'm currently with is 4 1/2 years older. I could say 5 years older but that seems like a pretty big difference lol

Asker11 moWell you could've said just 4, the fact you said and a half is like how kids used to say it 😂
- 11 mo
I know but I've been caught when people ask how many years apart we are and I have said four, then a couple occasions I said his age and it was during the six month period he was five years older than me. Not a big deal but I feel better about myself saying 4 1/2, otherwise I feel like I'm lying 🤥
Asker11 moNah it's not 5 til he reaches 5 😂

11 moYes... when I was in my late 20s I dated a woman who was 42.
When I was in my early 50s I dated a woman in her early 20s.
Those are the most extreme age differences I have dated but there have been others with smaller but still large age gaps.
All great experiences. Ironically, the much younger woman I dated in my early 50s passed away recently at a very young age. We kept in touch now and then and I was really heart broken to learn that she passed. The older woman I dated in my late 20s is still alive and I am still in touch with her even though we live on opposite sides of the country.

11 moThe largest age gap I've had was a 10 year difference when I was 28. The girl was 18. Only saw the girl about a month ish.

11 moAfter my divorce, in my 40s, I had one date with a 20 something. It didn't go well. We had little to talk about.

10 moYou don't want the answer to that from a minor 😭

Asker10 moProbably not unless it's something concerning, in that case you can get a good talking too and why you shouldn't date older than your age until you are at least 18 lol

11 moWhenever possible. Half my age is good 😊
As a divorced friend (my age ) once said…. Girls our age only want to get married (they want that security). Girls in their 20s only want to fuck and have fun…..
Which would you choose?21 Reply- 11 mo
I’m pretty sure I would choose fuck and have fun 😊
Anonymous(18-24)10 moWow, what an original, brand-new question! This topic has been milked so dry, even the cow is filing a restraining order 😴

Asker10 moWell they can't, there's no milk and since we are talking about old repetitive things, what's your excuse for being a sarcastic anon pink account that's got nothing but bitterness to express, we get plenty of those daily 😂
11 mo15 year's difference between my boyfriend and myself. He's 48 year's old and I'm 63 year's old. We have been together for over 1 year

I mean, what is a large age gap for one is not for someone else!
10 moOutside of the half your age, minus 7 or your age, minus 7 then doubled range, I had dated a 21 year old when I was 34 and that went on for 3 years.

11 moI dated 17 years older when I was 24. It was great till her friends and family started with the "robbing the cradle" nonsense. Since then every lady I have dated as in SO has been older but by less than 10 years.

Asker11 moSo exactly the age?
- 11 mo
I don't know. It was prob around 4-5 years max. You have to think about when you're older. At least I did because I was never into relationships unless serious, I'm too loyal. All in or I am riding.
Asker11 moThat's pretty cool, very legit lol

Anonymous(45 Plus)11 moYeah I dated a woman 15 years younger. I don't I'd ever do that again. Any gap larger than 10 years and you're going to have trouble relating to them, regardless of what people claim.
