What’s the most embarrassing thing that happened on a date?

Hey everyone,

We’ve all had those moments on a date where things didn’t exactly go as planned. Maybe you tripped while walking into the restaurant, maybe your stomach betrayed you at the worst possible time, or maybe the conversation turned awkward in ways you couldn’t have predicted.

I had one myself where I spilled a whole drink on the table and we both had to sit there pretending like it wasn’t soaking our clothes. At first, I wanted the ground to swallow me up, but later we just laughed about it.

So now I’m curious: What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you on a date? Did it ruin the night completely, or did it actually make things more memorable?

I’m on a first date at a restaurant and our waitress is an ex’s younger sister (although it had been five years since I dated her sister she recognized me instantly). My date initially thought I had dated my ex’s sister, who was five years younger than my ex.

I scheduled 2 dates on the same evening. They were a couple hours apart.

The first girl just so happen to show up while I was on the second date. She got really angry when she saw me and threw a drink in my face and started yelling at me. Fully blown screaming obscenities for what felt like forever.

Both girls stormed out of there and the whole place was dead silent just staring at me while I myself walked out afterwards.

And for the record, I wasn't physically involved with ether of the girls. It was my first date with both of them. I didn't even kiss the first girl goodbye or anything. The date was a rather awkward time with no real chemistry.

Second date WAS going well up until that point. I was ghosted after that and I never stepped foot in the pool hall again. lol.

I really can’t say I’ve had any super embarrassing moments dating. Then again, I’ve only dated two guys.

I've certainly had embarrassing moments in a relationship. Happens to the best of us.

My ex-wife asked me out on a date, then she spent most of the time talking about how we should try to bring the waitress home with us. I was sitting there like "Who the hell is this woman? She isn't who I was married to."
