Do white women find Asian guys attractive?

I'm an adopted Asian who was raised in a white household. From childhood, I have mostly white friends, but as I've gotten into the career world, I do find myself situationally gravitating to or more accepted into Asian "lunch tables" or "water cooler moments" so to speak.

I can definitely say "growing up white" I had a total bias against Asian men. I would say "harmless stuff" like I have preferences for guys that look like or have features like Thor, Chad, or Derek. In reality, I don't think I ever viewed male Asian features as attractive, simply because there wasn't enough representation of what attractive looked like in my day to day. When there are only 4 -6 Asian guys to pick from and they are each assigned with an unforgiving adjective from middle school, you write them off and have no desire to think "there's better out there for me."

When I got into college and started seeing more Asian guys, que the LA Asian archetype, I realized Asian men can just as equally fit into the tall, dark, and with some gym effort (ripped). Also, media representation like "crazy rich Asians", "everything, everywhere, all at once" etc has helped a lot. It's less of sure Asian men can be theoretically be desireable (que political correctness), but it genuinely gives you an example of what IS desirable (id love to find an Asian guy with a personality like Nick Young and the body of Astrids husband lol).

Anyhow, this is to say I think white women are coming to find Asian men more attractive, but it's not necessarily something that most are "born with" and they probably need to either intentionally expose themselves to Asian men, or live in a highly concentrated area of Asians for them to find Asian guys attractive. Im much more optimistic than I was say 15 years ago.

It is like with everything in life. Some people like things that others don't like and you will find the occasional white woman that finds Asian men attractive while others, most probably a majority of them, prefer to see men of their complexion or their ethnicity.

This has nothing to do with racism. It is simply a preference. It is like choosing a car. Some prefer a specific model and a specific color but that does not mean that the other makes are not as good as the one chosen.

It is actually a good thing that people have preferences and are able to chose.

I have a complex about being Asian and when I see white women I find attractive, I automatically think she would prefer someone of her own ethnicity and not be interested

Maybe if he has facial hair and is muscular and tall. He won’t have any problems.
