Is a bad taste in the opposite sex a red flag for you?

I understand people can pretend to be someone they’re not and by the time you see the real the you miss the old person… Someone who can pretend to be anything you want. That’s not what I’m taking about.

I mean men and women who are intentionally picking shitbags. If someone’s attracted to people of poor character and quality…. Are they really a quality person themselves?

Most are not. If I could make most guys understand one thing, this would be it.

We as guys are conditioned by our roles in society to protect and cater to women. And historically speaking women have always been expected to be meek and mild. Now I'm not suggesting that that's the way they should be at all. By I don't think most guys (nor women either) understand the sheer number of women predators there are now. Most women today do not want the traditional relationship. A woman wants her whims catered to 100% but in the past this was done by giving the man what he wanted while keeping her honor, integrity, and virtue intact. Today that has gone completely out the window. Now women will exploit a man by any means necessary. The majority of women are full of nothing but lies and deceit. And the foolish guy ignores this fact. His making plans for the future. While she is sharpening his claws and measuring him for the kill.

My advice to guys is ALWAYS know your boundaries. A good woman doesn't want to be catered to. A good woman is incredibly strong. BEWARE anytime a woman acts helpless. 9 times out of 10 she is the proverbial tiger trap.

Yes, most definitely. I have always thought that men don’t get jealous of other men in the way women get jealous of each other. If a girl we like dates someone else but he is a decent guy, we can be ok with that. But what we absolutely hate is when a girl we like dates a guy who is an obvious douchbag. That’s the one thing that can totally put me off of liking a girl.

What you're talking about is not "bad taste". You're talking about people who make bad choices. Value judgements. Morality and ethics. Not someone who wears loud Hawaiian shirts and sandals to formal events or a guy who sports a mullet. That guy has bad taste.

The guy who keeps dating single moms with a meth addiction and herpes makes bad choices based on undecipherable criteria. That single mom likewise makes some really bad choices.

Yes, people who make bad choices are a huge red flag. People who have fallen off the rails, no accomplishments in life by age 35, no assets, no friends, no education, no career, are all red flags. Likewise, alcoholism, smoking, drug addiction, and a circle of friends who are the same are all huge red flags. As is prison time and multiple failed relationships or marriages.
