Accidentally liked a girls picture on facebook?

I met this girl a couple months ago, she admitted to liking me and having a crush on me.

Anyways, she added me on facebook 2 weeks ago and I was ignoring her texts these past 2 days. I searched her name on fb and saw a bunch of older tagged photos of her, some dating back 5 years ago. I didn't mean to like one.. but she ended up texting me, “Scotyyyy, were u stalking my facebook 😹” then sent me screenshot of me liking the pic.

I feel embarrassed now. Is there anyway I come back from this?

If I were u, I ll meet the person.. I wouldn't ignore that person text / feel embarrassed.. I ll talk to her face to face if she is close distance with me / if not I ll call the person

Instead I ll say to her : hey 1st of all, thank u for your courage to open up your feeling to me I do really appreciate it..

But ( if u don't see her same way )-- with all due respect i hv for u, I m really sorry I don't see u the same way like u do to me..

I don't mean to hurt your feeling, I don't want u to keep your expectations towards me when I just offer u friendship n I ll never make things blurry to anyone including u about what I feel n what I think

N about your FB photo that I like, it's true that I look up to your name n I see some photo of yours n accidentally like button get clicked by me..

I m really sorry if that action of mine confuse u to think I might hv another intention behind it when I m not..

Just be honest to her n tell it in a proper way, u don't hv to ignore her text n feel embarrassed.. u do nothing wrong by accidentally click her photo

Just behave normal n set your boundaries clear so doesn't create confusion to her.. I m sure she ll understand 😊

What you should feel embarrassed for is being embarrassed that you showed interest. Like why are you ignoring someone you’re supposed to be interested in yet you’re digging all through social media looking at her pictures and stuff. Men like you play too many games then wonder why things don’t work out with women.

You should really work on that dude. Like if you eventually do want to date someone then you can’t make a girl who’s entirely new pay for what other women did or didn’t do in the past. You’d want a clean slate too not constantly having to prove yourself bc the girl you’re dealing with was cheated on before.
