Eventually, your daughter is going to date somebody. Man or woman. It’s not really your say to tell her what to do and who she can have feelings for. All you have to do is be supportive, let her know you’re always going to be her dad, and try to give her the best example of what kind of man she needs to be with simply by being her example.

But to answer your question, I’d like her date a man like me. I’m a solid man. I know I’m secure, know my boundaries, respectful, see my woman as my partner (not my property), and I do everything in my power to let her know she’s loved mentally, physically and emotionally. And she’s very happy, so I hope the man she finds dates someone like that.
